Summer at Communicate School!

Summer has now officially begun at Communicate School, and the classes are filling up with students hungry to learn English (and try Dunkin Doughnuts across the road!)

Along with the new students, we have also had the great pleasure of welcoming new teachers into the school, all highly qualified and ready to inspire each student throughout the summer period.

Our Summer Social Programme has kicked off with many popular activities being filled up including our Conversation Club and Introductory Walking Tour of Manchester. The tour is a great starter activity for students featuring some great landmarks that Manchester City Centre has to offer: Manchester’s Northern Quarter, the bustling street of Deansgate, and the iconic Chinatown.

Most recently, our students took a guided tour of the Manchester Art Gallery in St. Peter’s Square. Currently showing many inspiring and thought-provoking exhibitions, from Climate Justice to “How Hot Drinks Shape Our Lives”, the students were able to get an amazing taste of history and the present day through some fantastic pieces of modern art.

We look forward to welcoming all the new students coming to explore Manchester with us this Summer and we are thoroughly excited for the months ahead!
