BBC Learning visits Communicate School

Two weeks ago Communicate School had the pleasure of joining BBC Learning English: On Tour, an exclusive experience for our students and teachers.

BBC Learning chose Communicate School as one of the schools they would visit during the 2024 tour. They spent the day with us and lead workshops and activities for both our students and teachers.

The students were given a special class by BBC Learning creators and presenters, where they had the chance to take part in fun activities to win prizes, a Q&A and an introduction to the BBC Learning website and social media channels. They were also featured in some of the new video and audio content BBC Learning is currently working on for their website.

They then did a workshop with our teachers to introduce them to their materials, including how to adapt them for classroom use, and gathered some  feedback about what teachers would like from BBC Learning in the future.

Everybody also had a preview of some new learning material coming to BBC Learning very soon! It was a wonderful experience for everybody involved and a very unique class that students are not likely to forget soon!
