This was our best Summer yet

5 reasons this was our best Summer yet!

With September well under way and the nights drawing in, we are reflecting on an incredible summer of learning, laughs, and lifelong friendships. There are so many reasons why Summer 2017 was our best Summer yet – here are 5 to give you a taste of the Communicate Summer experience.

1. Our social activities
Getting out and about is a great way to meet new friends, and can do wonders for your language learning. This Summer we created our most varied social calendar ever, with over 30 different activities on offer. Students could choose from thrill-seeking trips to Alton Towers or go-karting, cultural city walks, countryside excursions, museums, or simply having a chat over a cup of locally brewed coffee.

2. Our students
Not only was Summer 2017 our most sociable, it was also our busiest yet. We welcomed over 300 students of more than 40 different nationalities – the school was bustling with multicultural classes, conversations, and cuisines! Communicate is a truly international experience and Summer was no different, with students making great new friends and learning more than just a language.

3. The good weather
OK, the weather hasn’t been great but it certainly hasn’t been bad! The sunshine has meant we could go outdoors and make the most of Manchester’s beautiful surroundings, holding social activities such as barbecues and picnics outside. Students even took their language learning outdoors, venturing into the local area to test out their new skills.

4. Our students’ success
There is nothing we love more than hearing updates from students. Whether it’s an email telling us about a brilliant IELTS score or a social media message about the amazing Summer, it’s great knowing what a fantastic time our students have had, and how much their time at Communicate meant to them. For many of our students, it isn’t just See you soon, it’s See you next year!

5. Our growth
Throughout Summer 2017 our students have had great success across our wide range of programmes, from family classes to specialist technical courses. Recently launched classes have gone from strength to strength, and we really look forward to continuing to welcome students from across the globe to open up their future with us.
