Intermediate lesson – job interviews

In the recent tutorials students asked for a lesson on interviewing techniques.

In this lesson, students applied for the same job position and then had individual interviews where they had to ask and answer questions about their skills and qualifications before the interviewer decided on the most suitable candidate.

Apart from learning vocabulary, students received some advice on non-verbal communication:

1. Keep eye contact with the interviewer

2. Give a firm handshake

3. Smile!
